JOHN KEITT

With 30 years of legal practice, both in private practice and in-house, John joined Elizabeth Wall Partners International in 2007, after an illustrious career as partner with New York law firms, Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance) and Dewey Ballantine (now Dewey & LeBoeuf). From 2003-06, John served as SVP Global Business, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for The Associated Press.

• At both Dewey Ballantine and Rogers & Wells, was in the Corporate Practice Group; at Rogers & Wells was the Founder and Chair of the Communications and Technology Group based in London and New York, and at Dewey he served as the Head of the Technology Group based in New York.  He was the Hiring Partner at Rogers & Wells and Managing Partner for the firm's Los Angeles office
• Has an extensive background in business, financial, technology, IP, media, administrative and regulatory matters
• Has both substantial domestic and international law practice experience
• Studied at Cambridge University in the UK, gaining a Master of Law degree.  He later practised law in London for five years with Rogers & Wells
• Has a proven track record for developing and executing the strategic reorganization of legal, operational and financial activities
• As the first General Counsel at The Associated Press, established the Office of General Counsel and was also responsible for AP's Global Business activities across over 100 countries, including world-wide administration, operations, sales and marketing and the overall management of over 800 employees
